Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of tensaiplan.com and the Tensai Plan application. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
The service
Tensai Plan is a personal finance application operated by Víctor Méndez, based in Uruguay ("we"). It lets you record income, expenses and transfers in one or more currencies, alone or with the members of a shared project, and offers an assistant that helps you enter and query your books.
Tensai Plan is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a payment service, an accountant or a financial, tax or investment adviser. Nothing in the app is advice; decisions about your money are yours.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tensai Plan. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done from your account. Tell us at support@tensaiplan.com if you believe someone else has used it.
One person, one account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent, or use another person’s account.
Projects and members
A project is shared with the people you invite. Admins manage the project and its members, Editors record and edit, Viewers read. The project owner is the Admin who can delete the project and transfer ownership.
Invite only people you are entitled to share the information with. What members record in a shared project is visible to the other members according to their roles, and the activity log records who did what.
If you leave or are removed from a project, you lose access to it; the data stays with the project and its owner.
Your content
Everything you record belongs to you. You grant us only the license we need to store it, display it to you and your project members, process it as described in the Privacy Policy and make backups. You can export a project as CSV at any time.
You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful, harmful or infringes the rights of others.
The assistant
The assistant reads your words and receipt photos and proposes entries. It can misread an amount, a date or a merchant. Every proposal is shown for your confirmation before it is saved, and you are responsible for checking it.
Assistant use is limited by weekly quotas that we may adjust to keep the service sustainable. Attempts to abuse the assistant, to extract its instructions or to use it for anything other than your own books may be limited or blocked.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tensai Plan to break the law, to harm others, to probe or attack the service, to scrape it, or to build a competing product from its data. Do not try to bypass quotas, permissions or rate limits.
Plans and payment
Tensai Plan is currently free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will publish their prices and conditions before charging anything, and nothing you already recorded will be deleted because of a plan change.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and we back it up daily, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features, and we will give notice when a change removes something you rely on.
Manual entry, browsing and reports keep working even when the assistant is unavailable.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Projects you own are deleted with it, for every member; transfer ownership first if others should keep them. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, after telling you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it is error-free, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions taken on the basis of figures in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country where you live still apply. We will try to resolve any disagreement with you directly first; write to support@tensaiplan.com.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
